Have you ever been to an Italian restaurant that completely reminds you of your no•na house? I recently visited Zappitelli’s in Mentor, Ohio and completely fell in love! This is a quaint and cozy Italian restaurant that has amazing food and staff. My server Kendall was friendly, fast and personable, and made me feel like family. Do I dare say their red sauce is better than mine? Yes, yes it is and their shaker cheese is bomb! This is a family style dining experience and could not be more impressed with the taste. Everything is made to order and tastes home made by a no•na! Oh, and don’t sleep on their wine selection! Delicious I will be visiting Zappitelli’s every time I’m in Ohio and cannot wait for my next cannoli (the best I’ve ever had!) If you ever have the craving for authentic Italian cuisine go visit Kendall and get the veal marsala, chicken piccata and definitely a cannoli or two! You won’t be disappointed!
Amazing service everything was so good! I had the lasagna, meatballs and tried the hot pepper parm and was delicious! The portions are HUGE and well worth the money! I took a banana cheesecake home and that was amazing as well!
I always get the spaghetti from there, it's the best. There's enough of it that I usually eat 3 times from it. Granddaughter got the taco pizza and they let her pick what she wanted on it. Only place to go for the best Spaghetti in town.
Food is delicious here! Great portions and service! Not overly priced either . Eating in is very nice and cozy with lots of Italiano decor. Good service. Definitely will be back!
1st time Visit on Saturday night. Short wait but worth it. Quaint dining room and Italian atmosphere. Ordered Gluten Free Penne Pasta with Italian Sausage & Veal Parmigiana with Spaghetti. Salads were above average in size and fresh. Meals arrived and were awesome in taste and portions. Half our meals we took home. Wine and Beer to drink and bill was 47 before tip. Service was friendly and did I say the food was awesome. Now my local Italian restaurant, bye-bye Olive Garden.
I lived in Lake County most of my life but never visited here and I wish I would have. Large portions and outstanding taste is what you get. I HIGHLY recommend the lasagna, it was the best I have ever eaten for sure. It even comes with 2 meatballs on the side! The chicken picata was delightful with a wonderful lemon flavor. You should try this place for sure!
The food and sauce may be the best ever. The portions are 2 fold. Meatballs with every dish. Had the lasagna and angel hair. This place is 50 miles away from my home and I would make the drive again. The leftovers the next day were just as good. A little wait for the food but once it came you forgot about all of that. My only suggestion is the bread and butter, maybe offer a good Italian bread the rolls on this day were not as fresh and warm as they could be but an easy fix. Fabulous food. Put one in North Royalton.
The food is amazing and the portions are huge!! Everything was fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly. I had the lunch special of sausage and peppers. It came with a wonderful crisp cold side salad and rolls plus a huge helping of spaghetti. Enough for at least 2 meals!
